Effective date: 2026-08-14. Creator Studio users can permanently delete their account and associated service data without waiting for manual review.
In-product deletion: sign in to Creator Studio, open Account settings, choose Delete account, enter the account password, and type DELETE to confirm. This action cannot be undone.
Data removed: the user record, workspace, active sessions, OAuth states, uploaded images, generated previews, drafts, publishing-job records, refresh token, and linked TikTok authorization are removed from the active service store. If TikTok does not confirm revocation, a detached encrypted access token without user or workspace identifiers may remain for up to 24 hours solely for automatic backoff-limited revocation retries, after which it is removed.
TikTok disconnection: before local deletion, the service attempts to revoke the TikTok authorization. Local account deletion still completes if TikTok does not confirm revocation; automatic retry is not guaranteed, so the result also clearly instructs the user to remove Creator Studio manually from TikTok account permissions. TikTok may independently retain platform records under its own policies.
Timing: deletion from the active service store and local media directories occurs when the confirmed request completes. Limited infrastructure or security logs, if generated outside this module, may remain only for their configured operational retention period.
Unable to sign in: email the support address below from the email registered to the account. We may request reasonable verification before acting to protect the account from unauthorized deletion.
