Who can use Creator Studio?

Independent sellers and creators can create their own account and connect a TikTok account they control. Each person manages their own media, drafts, and publishing choices.

Does a post go live without my approval?

No. Direct Post publishes only after you explicitly choose it, select its settings, accept its confirmations, and click Publish to TikTok. Upload Draft does not publish; you must open TikTok's notification, edit the draft, and publish inside TikTok.

Which posting method or privacy level is selected automatically?

None. You choose Direct Post or Upload Draft for each confirmed video. Direct Post also requires you to select a TikTok-provided privacy option.

Can I disconnect TikTok or delete my data?

Yes. Disconnect TikTok from the workspace at any time. You can also request or complete account deletion from the Data deletion page.

Do I need rights to the images and music I use?

Yes. Only upload media you own or are authorized to use. Before publishing, you must confirm your rights and TikTok's applicable music usage requirements.
